Introduction
PMON2000 is a versatile and portable firmware software with bootloader and debuging features which satisfy even the most demanding tasks. The integrated command shell provieds more than 40 powerfull commands giving the user full control over the target platform.
It supports easy integration of drivers from the *BSD thus allowing a wide range of I/O devices such as Ethernet, SCSI, IDE, USB, Fibre Channel etc, to be supported.
History
PMON2000 was first released in 2000 for the PowerPC architecture. It was initially based on the PMON boot firmware for MIPS processors created by Algorithmics UK. During the years PMON2000 has changed and evolved to provide an advanced firmware and boot platform and have found its way into many products from companies all over the world.
